| Isaiah has said: • "The voice of one crying out • with joy in the wilderness; • make straight his paths." | Ⲏⲥⲁⲏ̀ⲁⲥ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ: ϫⲉ ⲡ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲱϣ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ: ϩⲓ ⲛⲓϣⲁϥⲉⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ: ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲃⲓⲟⲥ ⲉⲧϫⲏⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ. | أشعياء دعاه، صوت الصراخ، بفرح في البراري، للسعي الكامل. |

| Behold, the waters have seen • the Maker and Creator • and they feared • agitation and confusion overtook them. | Ⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ: ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲇⲏⲙⲓⲟⲩⲣⲅⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲛⲧ: ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ: ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩϣ̀ⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲱⲙⲧ. | هوذا المياه قد رأت، الخالق الجابل، فخافت وادركها، الاضطراب والحيرة. |
