Welcome to Hymnologist!

The goal of Hymnologist is to promote education in the realm of Coptic Hymns through three main features:

1. To keep a digital database of the hymns of the Coptic Church in several languages (using Unicode).
2. To keep a digital database of recordings, "hazzat" (Melisma Maps), Musical Notation, Manuscripts and Studies for those hymns
3. To allow other applications/websites to access the database via API or embedding.
