3rd Hoos: A Hymn for the Holy Trinityالهوس الثالث: مديح للثالوث القدوس
We worship the Holy Trinity, The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, We worship, we praise and sanctify, One God, Creator of mankind.السجود يَليق للثالوث القدوس، الآب والإبن والروح القُدُس، نسجد ونُسبِّح ونُقدِّس، لإله واحد خالق الأنفُس.
To Him is glory and honor always, Also, the reverence and the kingdom, Ever existing before all ages, Everlasting and immortal.له المجد الدائم والإكرام، صاحب الهيبة والملكوت، قديم أزلي قبل الأيام، دائم باقي حي لا يموت.
Holy God, holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, Lord of the throne, the highest King, We preach the Holy Trinity.قدوس الله قدوس القوي، قدوس الحي الذي لا يموت، رب العرش الملك العُلوِي، نَكرِز ونُبَشِّر بالثالوث.
Blessed is the Father, the Pantocrator, Blessed is the Son, Jesus Christ, Blessed is the Holy Spirit, the eternal, We worship and praise Him.مبارك الآب ضابط الكلِّ، مبارك الإبن يسوع المسيح، مبارك روح قدسه الذي لا يزال، يجب له السجود مع التسبيح.
The almighty and great in power, The knowing, good and honored Judge, One God in three hypostases, Indescribable by any human.صاحب قدرة وسلطان عظيم، حَاكِم عَالِمْ جيد وكريم، إله واحد في ثلاثة أقانيم، يَعْجَزْ عن وَصفهِ كل فَهيم.
Of one essence and one nature, One Being in His divinity, The Three are one in essence, Without mingling or separation.جوهر واحد طَبعٌ واحد، وذات واحد في اللاهوت فريد، الثلاثة واحد في الجوهر، من غير تَفْريد ولا تقسيم.
One Being in three hypostases, Without mingling or separation, The Almighty in His kingdom, Filling the heavens and all therein.جوهر واحد في ثلاثة أقانيم، من غير تَفْريد ولا تقسيم، سُلطان واحد في مُلكه مُقيم، مالئ سماوات وكل الأقانيم.
A mystery above the human mind, In essence, They are one God, But according to Their existence, Three hypostases, one God.سِرٌّ يفوق البشرية، بحسب الجوهر إله واحد، وأما حسب الاُقنومية، هم الثلاثة إله واحد.
The Son begotten before all ages, Begotten from the Father, In natural birth, And the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father.الإبن مولود من الأزلية، ليس لتقديم الإرادة وُلد من الآب، لكن ولادة طبيعية، والروح القدس منبثق من الآب.
As the sun gives rays and heat, The Sun disk is the source of both, Without division or separation, This is natural birth.كولادة شعاع الشمس وحرارتها، والقُرص الباعث للإثنين، وهذه الولادة طبيعية، لا مُنقطعين ولا مُنفصلين.
Three equal hypostases, In essence and divinity, Since the beginning of the ages, And to the eternal life.الثلاثة أقانيم مُتساوية، في الجوهر واللاهوتية، وفي قِدَم الأزلية، ودَوام الحياة الأبدية.
Daniel witnessed the throne, Upon it, the Ancient of Days, Of whom came the Son of Man, And granted Him honor and dominion.شاف دانيال كرسي أعيان، والجالس عليه عتيق الأيام، دَنَا منهُ إبنُ الإنسان، وأعطاه الكرامة والسلطان.
The throne appeared as lightening, Upon it, He sat as fire, His hair, as white as snow, Carrying it four creatures of fire.نظر الكرسي شَبيه البرق، والجالس عليه شَبيه النار، شعر رأسه أبيض كالثلج، حاملينه أربعة كائنات من نار.
The four having no bodies, One like a man, one like a calf, The third is like a lion, And the fourth like an eagle.رأى الأربعة من غير جسد، واحد في شِبه إنسان وواحد في شِبه ثور، والكائن الثالث شِبه أسد، والكائن الرابع شَبيه النسور.
A face for each being, With six wings and many eyes, Two wings to cover their feet, Two covering their face and two to fly.أربعة وُجُوه للواحد منهُم، وستة أجنحة وكُله عيون، بإثنين يغطون أرجلهُم، يسترون وجوههم بإثنين ويطيرون بإثنين.
Twenty-four priests upon their seats, With golden crowns bright as fire, In their hands, golden censers, Incense rising day and night.أربعة وعشرون قسيساً بكراسيهُم، وأكاليل ذهب تشعل كالنار، ومجامر ذهب في أيديهُم، ببخور صاعد ليلاً ونهار.
Surrounding the throne thousands of thousands, And myriads of myriads of archangels, With choirs of thrones and dominions, Chanting to Him with joyful voices.يحوط بالكرسي اُلوف اُلوف، ورؤساء ملائكة ربوات ربوات، كراسي وسلاطين صفوف صفوف، تُرتِّل له بأعلى الأصوات.
Praising Him with joyful sounds, With the cries of the creatures and priests, Saying, “Holy, holy, holy, O Living One, Lord of hosts.وعند صِياح الكائنات والقسوس، يصيحون جميعاً بأعلى صوت، صارخين قائلين "قدوس قدوس، قدوس الحي رب الصباؤوت.
Heaven and earth are full of, Your glory and Your praise, To You, is honor and power, And all creatures praise you.السماء والأرض مملوءة، من مجدك الفائق ومديحك، لك المجدُ لك القوة، وجميع البرايا لتسابيحك.
Alleluia … Alleluia, To You, is greatness and majesty, To You, is glory and power, To You, is honor and kingdom.هلليلويا هلليلويا، لك العظمة والجبروت، لك المجد لك القوة، ولك الهيبة ولك الملكوت.
